prior to yesterday, you could catch me at any given moment, and there were a lot of them, complaining about how the fourth was falling on a wednesday this year. 'WHAT?! so like, can i take tuesday off too? no. maybe thursday off? no. just wednesday. ugh.'
but i have to say, yesterday was the nicest, most relaxing little wednesday i have had in a long while. we started off our morning with coffee and egg sandwiches for breakfast at a '60's throwback coffee shop right up the street, neptune coffee. we then followed that with a lunch of burgers, fries, fish tacos and john daly's down at maggie's bluff while watching the sail boats skid through the sparkling water. after a long walk following lunch, it was boating time and we headed down to lake union to watch the beautiful fireworks show that is set off from a barge on the water. i won't elaborate about dinner on the boat because well, it consisted of doritos and chocolate chip cookies. not complaining though....
all in all, twas a lovely little wednesday and hey, guess what, it's already thursday!
